Life as It Dances on Earth

God said:

There are days you go through that seem to be beset with difficulties, one after the other. Sometimes it seems like you have weeks without sunshine in them.

One way to look at these times is that you are overburdened with them. Another way to look at these times is that you are quickly getting rid of a stock of difficulties that you would like to be finished with. Look at all the difficulties you can wash your hands of now. They occurred, and now there are fewer remaining difficulties to impose themselves into your life.

There are always other ways you can look at whatever you may be looking at. Let’s say you had a stock of 100 difficulties waiting for you. So now more of these pesky difficulties are out of the way. This could call for rejoicing. Why not? What is there for you to gain by deciding to be downcast?

You don’t have to greet difficulties with your chin out. You don’t have to let difficulties gnaw at your gut either. Accept difficulties in the palm of your hand. Take care of those you can. Those difficulties that you do not know how to solve, well, they, too, will go by the wayside.

You have heard before to count every difficulty as a blessing. You don’t know the whole story yet. How could something that causes you heartache possiblly be a blessing, yet this happensd, and this has already happened to you. The fish that got away can be good news. You may be luckier than you imagine.

Whiplash from the world is only whiplash. It is not fatal. Nothing is fatal. Death is not fatal. You wake up from body death in a better state than before. Everything blows over. No bad time lasts forever.

No longer do telegrams come to you with unwelcome news as in the olden days.

Anyway, don’t let life in the world get to you. You always have life in or out of the world. You have life day after day while you are on Earth. Tragedy is how you name some of your days. Tragedy exists in your assessment. Your calling an event tragedy is like a tax you make yourself pay. A tragedy by any other name is not a tragedy. Is it tragedy, beloveds, or is it simply life as it dances on Earth?

Ultimately, it is you who says what something is and what something is not. The answer to your prayers may not be the answer to your prayers. A disappointment could be the real answer. What you identify and what is can be two different matters altogether.

Certainly, you sometimes experience disappointment. It is you who are disappointed. This is something of your own making. You have your heart set in one direction. Life has you going into another direction, and you are dashed. But why? Because you didn’t get what you wanted when you wanted? Because you don’t get what you want doesn’t even have to be cause for disappointment. You wanted to win the lottery, yet you didn’t. What has been lost? If you had won the lottery and then it was found to be a mistake, then you can say you lost something. This shows how much of life is decided in your mind. It’s not like you had the millions of dollars in your hand even. You had the thought of it.

Goody, if you didn’t win the lottery today, you have another chance tomorrow. If your proposal for marriage wasn’t accepted, it means that you are still open to your heart’s desires.

Perhaps that which you see as barriers are really leading you to the Sunshine, and now you are so much closer. This is a good way to look at the obstacles you come across in life. Yes, name them something else.
