Ascended Masters Tonight Wesak celebration join us

This weekend Sunday May 3rd at 10 Pm EST

we will have our Wesak/Vesak celebration.

A Ceremony in the Himalayas

During this full moon period, the Buddha is said to empower Forces of Enlightenment seeking contact with humanity. At a legendary ceremony in a Himalayan valley He returns year after year to bless an assembled gathering of Enlightened Beings, from the Christ, to the most humble disciple. The ritualistic movement of the participants form geometric patterns on the valley floor, absorbing and generating currents of spiritual force that create a preliminary channel for the potencies the Buddha will bring.
As the exact time of the full moon approaches a heightened expectancy and tension spreads throughout those assembled. The moment of His appearance is characterised by a great Silence, brimming with vitality and significance.
One of the greatest services we can render during this high point of the spiritual calendar is to align with the spirit of Silence in the valley of Wesak. We can prepare to hold the inner connection, even when amid the mundane interactions of daily life.
Keeping a sustained inner silence, and standing as the detached observer, we might well emulate the "silent watchers" of the heavens, observing the flow of thoughts and desires as they pass through us, yet remaining detached from them as we actively engage with the higher energies released by the Buddha. Through the silent tension we generate in the build up to the full moon, we put ourselves in touch, not only with the soul, but with the Spirit aspect whose Presence awaits our contact and invocation. Thus we can serve the greater Whole.
The Buddha’s annual return to bless people everywhere and to convey the message of wisdom, light and love is the outer evidence and guarantee of inner divine guidance and revelation in this present world cycle.

Vesak 2015: Birth Of Lord Buddha & His Journey Towards Enlightenment

On a full-Moon night, Lord Buddha was born to King Kapilavastu and Mayadevi. He was named as Siddharth (one who attains all goals) Gautam. Being the only child, he was given all the luxuries and lead a pampered childhood. He didn’t know anything beyond his castle gates. The reason behind this was, at time of his birth, it was predicted that he will turn out to be a great sage. Buddha will enlighten the world with his teachings. Thus, he was not allowed to witness any atrocities or negatives. Siddhartha Gautam was married early to Yashodhara and was blessed with a son.
But at the age of 29, some events took place when Gautam buddha stepped out of his palace. These events made him realize the real atrocities of life. The events depicted different phases of life like old age, disease, and death. These happenings made him realize the cycle of birth and death.
Post these occassion, Siddharth left all the luxuries, pleasures, and comforts of life in order to understand the real meaning of life.

Vesak 2015: Buddha Attains Enlightenment

Buddha on search of real truth, traveled to different places and reached Bodhgaya. Buddha followed the path of self denial, discipline and path of self indulgence. Thus, Buddha attained enlightenment under the Bodhi tree at Bodhgaya on Vesak (month of Hindu calendar) on the day of Purnima (full moon).
Gautam Buddha delivered his first sermon to a group of five companions at Varanasi. These companions were given the name Sangha (company of Buddhist monks).
Below mentioned are the teachings of Lord Buddha, these teachings are still practised. Let’s know in detail what were those teachings.

Buddha’s Teachings: Four-Noble Truths By Buddha

Lord Buddha founded Buddhism and following are considered to be the four noble points about Buddhism:
  1. Human life is suffering.
  2. Human desires are the core reasons for sufferings.
  3. An end to human desires will end human sufferings.
  4. An end to the desire can be done by following the ‘Eightfold Noble Path’ of Buddhism. The eight noble teachings are as follows.

Eightfold Noble Path includes:
  1. The right view of life.
  2. The right view of intention.
  3. The right view of speech.
  4. The right view of action.
  5. The right view of livelihood.
  6. The right view of effort.
  7. The right view of frame of mind.
  8. The right view of concentration.

We will connect with the energies in the Himalayas and move into our own inner silence to receive the enlightment and wisdom that will support us in our journey toward our own enlightment and spiritual seekings of truth and wisdom.
