DAY OF GLOBAL MEDITATION

Dearest Friends, Members of Christ’s Way, So many people have expressed having difficulty in meditating that I have taken this great opportunity to enlarge on the subject with the purpose of helping people to make 29 SEPTEMBER a wonderful FESTIVAL DAY OF GLOBAL MEDITATION It is my most earnest wish that people will feel that their loving prayerful thoughts and prayers for the world, truly reach Divine Consciousness and draw down enlightenment, inspiration, guidance and healing of the world's great problems at this time. To help spread news of CHRIST'S LETTERS as swiftly as possible, we ask that time and devoted prayer may also be given to the publishing of CHRIST'S LETTERS in all countries around the world. We long to see the books in every spiritual bookstore in all countries. When that day begins to come, it is certain that the conditions in the world will already be changing to those of greater equality on all levels of life - supply, food, health, education, housing. We know that if CHRIST'S LETTERS are read and practised daily, these changes will most surely come about. And now I am going to explain why MEDITATION together with heartfelt prayer can change the world. This is being sent early to enable you to read and re-read this e.mail to fully absorb its entire message and meaning. It comes with my sincere love of you and the earnest desire that the 29th of September will be remembered as the day when a mighty Spiritual Power was released into the skies over the planet, and into people's hearts and minds, and changes became evident almost immediately. The reason why Jesus was not successful when on earth was because no one understood science - physics - quantum physics. Christ has returned NOW - because people understand physics and can now understand his teachings - if they are willing to do so.  Modern young people should be able to understand that everything looks solid, but in fact, what we call 'SOLID MATTER' is really made of certain basic elements and in laboratories, these elements can be broken down to the level of waves and atoms. Every element is composed of a specific number of protons with an equal number of electrons. That, my dear reader, is what you really are! You may ask why we do not know this. We do not know it because we have been given the type of sight which cannot see waves and atoms. These waves and atoms are kept in motion within their own frequency of vibration which is so swift that our sight is unable to see it. We have been given the great gift of touch which tells us only how dense or fragile something is. Because of our sight and our sense of touch, we believe we live in a solid world. You cannot understand the enormous value of Meditation until you understand that you are really only energy made visible through the gift of your five senses. You may ask: 'If we are only energy - bundles of energy- what holds things together?' You have to understand that the ENERGY IN WHICH THE ATOMS AND WAVES DANCE AND VIBRATE TO PRODUCE SOLID MATTER - is CONSCIOUSNESS. Christ says: There is nothing in the universe that is not CONSCIOUSNESS made visible. Consciousness is awareness.   CONSCIOUSNESS AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL BEYOND ALL MATTER - IS  UNIVERSAL CONSCIOUSNESS ENERGY - and here you have to accept that some things are beyond our comprehension. We find it impossible to imagine consciousness outside of matter - physical brains and form - but basic, fundamental CONSCIOUSNESS really is UNIVERSAL CONSCIOUSNESS as yet universal, not yet formed. This UNIVERSAL CONSCIOUSNESS IS THE PLACE - UNIVERSAL SPACE - where creation has its beginning. This is where potential LIFE has its beginning. If you are able to really understand this - only then will  you  have set the first step in understanding real spirituality. You think that electricity and magnetism are simply energy - but they are really living IMPULSES OF CONSCIOUSNESS. ELECTRICITY is an impulse - a Consciousness impulse of movement. Its very nature is to move. MAGNETISM is an impulse - a Consciousness impulse to attract or repel. The impulses arise out of the proximity of electrical charges - positive or negative. You think with electrical consciousness (think of lie detectors) and feel with magnetic consciousness. You have been created into visible matter by the activity of Consciousness electromagnetism. Basically, you are CONSCIOUSNESS ELECTROMAGNETISM - THINKING, FEELING, WALKING, BEING, WORKING, PLAYING, SLEEPING, WAKING. You have drawn your being from UNIVERSAL CONSCIOUSNESS ENERGY which has been individualised by the creation of our ego at  conception. Our soul has come from UNIVERSAL CONSCIOUSNESS - The God Energy filling all space. But our thoughts, words and actions are all governed by ego. EGO makes every living thing - that is human, animal, and even plant, look after themselves - in every possible way - it is given by God - but it is not wholly GODLIKE - it has been given us for survival. It is not evil - it is necessary.    EGO can make us hateful, selfish, angry, thieving people.  But it is we people who allow our EGO to push us into pleasing ourselves by the wrong use of the Ego. When people meditate on God - UNIVERSAL CONSCIOUSNESS - and try to understand what that Energy must be like - It is radiant - enormous power - It is LOVE INTELLIGENCE (think of the power within the atom when it is split and the explosive power razes cities - this is just a tiny flicker of UNIVERSAL CONSCIOUSNESS). Try to realise that your soul has been drawn from UNIVERSAL CONSCIOUSNESS - from God. TRY TO REMEMBER THAT WHEN YOU THINK ABOUT SOMETHING, YOUR MENTAL ENERGY MAKES CONTACT WITH WHAT IT THINKS ABOUT - THAT IS WHY YOU MEDITATE.  The purpose of meditation is to make contact with DIVINE CONSCIOUSNESS and allow Its ENERGY to flow into your mind. When you meditate, in order to make mental contact with DIVINE CONSCIOUSNESS, you must gently quieten your mind - concentrating on a spiritual word of your choice. Personally, I still like the old-fashioned word GOD because I hold in mind:  It is this UNIMAGINABLE POWERFUL ENERGY filling all space, from which I have drawn my soul. When I have reached utter stillness and silence in my mind, I rest in the stillness for as long as is comfortable, silently realising that I am now receiving God energy into my mind. In meditation, you can also ask Divine Consciousness to enlighten your mind as you think about the reality of God - and about the way the world has been created out of CONSCIOUSNESS and about the qualities of Divine Consciousness set out in Letter 1. Gradually, your mind consciousness will become refined and you will draw closer and closer to the higher spiritual dimensions and you will find your life changing and becoming more blest and harmonious. You will find that if you follow these Christ Teachings sincerely and to the very best of your ability, you will indeed experience all the blessings promised you by Christ, you will enter the Kindom of Heaven.  With all love and joy in Christ Recorder
